My Oh My How Things Change

My Oh My How Things Change

Because I have no access to my puzzle until we close on the new house (September 13th) and get our stuff delivered from storage, I thought I would go back and re-read / edit this blog.  I wanted to fix any typos and re-word some posts.  While doing this I discovered a few interesting things:  1)  When I purchased this puzzle, my son was a 5-month-old infant.  He’s now almost 2-1/2 years old and I’ve just barely started to scratch the surface with regard to putting this monster project together; 2) I blogged several entries stating that I would start with the balloons, and then move on to the clownfish before the animals — I didn’t; and 3) I can really babble…endlessly it seems!  LOL

One really cool thing about the puzzle is that I’m still early enough in the process that it shouldn’t be too difficult to switch the puzzle over to a piece of plywood that will be cut to fit one complete section.  Now that I will have an entire room dedicated to my puzzling, I am thinking of purchasing two 6-foot resin tables, putting them together, and then lay the piece of plywood overtop.  This will make a nice, solid surface for me to work with, and I’m thinking the pieces will move around better on top of this.  The pieces tend to buckle a bit on the felt when you try to move a few pieces or section around.

With all this spare time, I’ve also gone back and re-read ALL of the Hall of Fame stories on the “Life” website.  I think I’ve read most of them at least 3 or 4 times.  Some even more.  The stories and pictures are so inspiring to me.  It really makes me miss my puzzle.  :o(

September 13th cannot come soon enough!
