Puzzle of Life

Puzzle of Life

I get a lot of catalogs.  Catalogs for clothes…catalogs for kids stuff…catalogs for things I would never buy in my lifetime.  However, catalogs for home decor are my favorite  I have bought more home decor stuff through catalogs than any other catalog item.  Most of the time I just glance at them and toss because I just can’t buy everything I like or I’d have to move out of my house to make room for all the stuff!.  LOL  But every once in a while you just find a gem, and that’s just what I found in a Personal Creations catalog last week.

How appropriate for these adorable frames to be called “Puzzle of Life.” This is SOOO ME!  LOL  I am anxious to start collecting these and hope to possibly get one as a gift this holiday season.

Click here to check out these frames and start your own family photos puzzle collage.  I already know exactly where to start one of these collections in my house!  Have a great weekend everyone.

  1. Just stopping by to say 'hello'. I'm now following this blog and have also joined your Facebook page. I haven't done any jig-saw puzzles since the spring so it's time to start again now with the cooler weather. The trouble is, I'm a reading addict too. 🙂

  2. Hi Penny,

Love those frames and they just couldn't be more appropriate for an avid 'puzzler', could they?

Are they heading for your puzzle room den, or do you have other plans for them?

Maybe if you hang them in other parts of the house, it will encourage other family members to catch on to the puzzle bug and join you!

    Have a great weekend,

    Yvonne

  3. Hi Cath,

I have a large stack of jigsaw puzzles just waiting for me, but like yourself, I have an even larger stack of book reviews to honour and there just aren't enough hours in the day for both.

I am not as brave as Penny though and tend to stick to nothing more challenging than a 1,000 piece puzzle. Have you checked out Penny's massive 24,000 piece project? Brave isn't the word for it, that would be a lifetime project for me!

I have also been very remiss in my blog hopping of late and can't remember when we last talked books, but I promise to stop by very soon.

  4. Hello Penny this is amazing, I have just started following your blog and i love that there are other people out there like me, who love their puzzles. I have been puzzling for a long time and now want to try doing puzzles online. Do you have any suggestions of any good sites?

    Mark

  5. Thanks for stopping by, Cath! Glad you joined. Yeah, I have a hard time fitting both of my favorite passions in with two young children to chase after. I know someday when they're a little older it will be easier, but until then I just have to get in 15 minutes here and there when I can.

  6. Hey Mark! Thank you for stopping by. Sorry it took me so long to respond to your comment. It has been crazy busy around here with Thanksgiving and Hanukkah all at the same time this year, and now Christmas is coming in a couple of weeks! Yikes! Anyway, I'm so glad that you found me and that you like the blog. What puzzles have you been working on? Anything big or do you prefer the smaller puzzles? I haven't done too many puzzles online as I don't really care for doing them that way. I guess you could say that I'm old fashioned that way. I prefer to physically have them in front of me. I know there is a site (unfortunately, I don't recall the name) that gives you a new online puzzle to complete every day. Try doing a google search on daily jigsaw puzzles and you might find it.

Yvonne who follows the blog too might know of one…I think she does some online as well. Sorry I couldn't be of more help with those, but I would love to talk to you more about the jigsaws you've done.

    Cheers!
    Penny
